The Team

Paul Wood-Bradley MPhty, BAppSc

Owner and Principal Physiotherapist

Paul is the founder of Physio Nomad, an innovative approach to Physiotherapy combining on-field, in-home and in-clinic therapy to allow people to receive services when and where it matters.  Working across hospital and private practice settings on the Fraser Coast over the last 3 years, Paul saw the need for a service providing a more patient-centered and holistic model of care specific to each individual and their environment.

Paul grew up and studied in Canberra where he obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree before completing his Masters of Physiotherapy through the University of Canberra.  He has previously worked across surgical, medical and rehabilitation wards as well as outpatients in hospital settings in Canberra and the Fraser Coast as well as working in private practice settings treating a broad range of conditions including acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative orthopaedic procedures, cardiothoracic and neurological conditions.

Paul has developed a passion for applying a holistic health care model in working with people to achieve their recovery and life-long wellness goals.  He utilises a hands on approach including massage, dry needling and manual therapy in combination with a tailored exercise program specific to the individual. Working with various sports teams as a sports trainer as well as recovering from his own significant injuries in the past has given Paul an empathy and understanding of the challenges facing those recovering from injury.

In his spare time, Paul loves outdoor pursuits including camping, mountain bike riding and hiking. He is an AFL fanatic supporting the Sydney Swans and also loves playing tennis and golf.
